Where Can I Take a Girl to Slow Dance to Romantic Songs Now That School Dances Are No Longer an Option?

Basically, I am 21 and going to graduate school. There is a girl that I think I’d like to take slow dancing since I was good at it back in high school and college and always had fun. I am not looking for a dance club where club music is played and I am not looking for ballroom dancing lessons since I cannot really follow dance steps. Are there places that will just play romantic songs and cater to people who want to slow dance? Thanks!

Please don’t laugh. But, many VFW organizations in small communities hold really nice dances for fund raising. VFW’s in many communities are having membership and financial troubles right now. Maybe you could help them raise funds by allowing you to hold the kind of dances that you like in their halls to raise funds for them. Call around to neighboring communities where you live and investigate. (VFW: Veterans of Foreign Wars.)
