I’m putting together a ballroom dance CD for my group. Just a little mix of everything for practice.
Feels like I’m missing something, but not sure what. Some styles I’m leaving off (merengue and hustle).

What Do You Call This Ballroom Dance .?

Well I’m not really sure if its a ballroom dance but it looks like it . I only saw part of the dance . Anyways its like a dance when you have a partner (obviously). It’s like each partner are moving and dancing on a perimeter of a box . Well they’re not Really dancing on a box but … Anyways idk if I’m explaining this good.
It’s like the partners moves one step to the right. Then one step back . Then one step to the left . Then one step forward . (then repeats) then the girl gets twirled.
Okaay . So does anyone know what that dance is called ?

Where Is the Best Place to Take Ballroom Dancing in Seattle?

I’m planning to take ballroom dancing lessons with a partner in the Seattle area (I actually live in Issaquah, about 30 minutes east of Seattle), but we’re not sure where to start. We’re both complete beginners, and we’re looking for something with a little variety–mostly in the smooth dance category: waltz, tango, foxtrot, etc. We’d also like to keep it under a budget of about 60 dollars, ideally 10-12 per lesson. Can anyone help?

Ballroom Dance for “You Make My Dreams Come True”?

I am getting married shortly, and our first dance will be to the song “You make my dreams come true” by Hall and Oates (I’m not a fan of the slow first dance thing). What type of dance would be a good one, based on the beat of this song, to choreograph for our first dance? A less complex step would be ideal.

We are planning on going to a professional, but my Fiancee has never done ballroom dance before so I wanted to get her up to speed on some basic steps before we start paying a lot per hour. Suggestions?

Is It Possible for a Bad Dancer to Learn Ballroom?

I’m fascinated by ballroom dancing and would love to learn, but I have two left feet. I tried participating in a school program where the students had to perform a couple of ballroom dances (they even brought in a dance instructor for this) but I couldn’t keep up with the rest of the students.

Is it possible for me to learn/improve if I keep trying?
