How Can I Learn to Ballroom Dance if the Only Ballroom Class Isn’t That Good?

Okay, I may be asking a stupid question here, but I’m desperate. I’ve been wanting to learn to ballroom dance for EVER, but the only class doesn’t seem very good, I’ve observed it for a night, but I didn’t like the way they teach. It sucks to live in a city where you can’t even find a decent hip-hop dancing studio, let alone a ballroom! What should I do?

What Dance Class Should I Take?

I’m a beginner dancer, but only because I’ve never had formal classes besides a few ballroom from friends of friends who taught it. Dance is a major passion of mine, and I have good rhythm, but I fear I might be bad at getting any of the steps/routines down. I want to take more of a hip hop route with my class. Suggestions?
