I’m fascinated by ballroom dancing and would love to learn, but I have two left feet. I tried participating in a school program where the students had to perform a couple of ballroom dances (they even brought in a dance instructor for this) but I couldn’t keep up with the rest of the students.

I am 16 yrs old and I started ballroom at 15. I love it so much and I have 3 hrs of dance a week, I wish I had more but with school, its not possible right now…I know becoming pro is not possible, but can I learn to dance well, but like really well even though i started at 15…I wish i could dance without hesitations and somewhat like on Dancing with the Stars…But I definitely started too late to be a Professional. I plan on continuing through college and later on….still, I do not think i will achieve anything:(

I took the group class in a studio as trial and it made me feel frustrsted…cuz there’re too many people and everyone just danced for fun. I’m not saying it’s wrong with dcing for fun, I just really want to find a place to concentrate on it for compete.

i ballroom dance i wish i took ballet. it gives you more grace when you dance if i took it i dance more graceful. im to old to take it now my mom went to sign me up for it when i was younger yet i was to much of a tom boy to care at the time. now i wish i took it! well i like to learn belly dancing but really it be my 3ed pick.

I’ve been wanting to learn to ballroom dance for EVER, but the only class doesn’t seem very good, I’ve observed it for a night, but I didn’t like the way they teach. It sucks to live in a city where you can’t even find a decent hip-hop dancing studio, let alone a ballroom! What should I do?

I Want to Learn Ballroom Dancing but I Don’t Have a Partner?

I live in New Zealand and I’m 14 years old. I hardly have any guy friends, and I’m not close enough to them to ask if they would do dancing with me (which they wouldn’t anyway). and they have girlfriends so that would be weird.

So i really want to join Ballroom dancing, after watching Dancing With The Stars. I can be quite flexible and good at dancing when i do exercise etc.

But i don’t have a partner to do it with! None of my girl friends would do it with me (obviously, because we are not lesbian).

Help! What can i do?! Should i wait till I’m a bit older and have guy friends to start dancing?
