I Want to Learn Ballroom Dancing but I Don’t Have a Partner?

I live in New Zealand and I’m 14 years old. I hardly have any guy friends, and I’m not close enough to them to ask if they would do dancing with me (which they wouldn’t anyway). and they have girlfriends so that would be weird.

So i really want to join Ballroom dancing, after watching Dancing With The Stars. I can be quite flexible and good at dancing when i do exercise etc.

But i don’t have a partner to do it with! None of my girl friends would do it with me (obviously, because we are not lesbian).

Help! What can i do?! Should i wait till I’m a bit older and have guy friends to start dancing?

Have you ever been to one of those high-society dinner parties where couples would ballroom dance as part of the night’s activities? Perhaps you have admired their energetic movements and easy grace on the dance floor. You will be pleased to find out, then, that with the proper Latin dance lessons, you can easily join the ranks of ballroom dancers.   If you start taking Latin dance lessons, you will gain in social standing, as other people take notice that you are someone knows how to dance properly. You will probably also find yourself invited to more events, as many people respect others who have the ability to dance.   Besides that, signing up for Latin dance lessons will also be a great way for you to meet new people. When taking Latin dance lessons, you will require a partner for many of the forms of dance that you will learn.
