How Would You Go Further to Competitions in Ballroom Dancing?

If you already take classes for ballroom dancing and would like to move to completions how do you find out about the competitions?

i ballroom dance i wish i took ballet. it gives you more grace when you dance if i took it i dance more graceful. im to old to take it now my mom went to sign me up for it when i was younger yet i was to much of a tom boy to care at the time. now i wish i took it! well i like to learn belly dancing but really it be my 3ed pick.

I was given a certificate to take ballroom dancing lessons in one of the following: east coast swing(jitterbug), ballroom waltz, foxtrot, rhumba, cha-cha, salsa, merengue, niteclub two step, country western twostep, or country waltz….does anyone have suggestions on which i should take or stories from their own experiance…i have taken alot of ballet and i really want to get into this
